Superb organizational skills, the ability to carefully manage projects and meet deadlines, and a good working knowledge of registration, fine art shipping and logistics …art fairs and exhibitions .are essential. We are looking for an experienced, self assured professional who can step in and manage projects immediately.
- Extensive experience in international shipping procedures, UK and EU Customs procedures and regulations, and strong knowledge of contemporary art
- Ability to handle a high level of volume and complexity with speed and accuracy
- Must be proactive and driven
Registrar • Management of transport and artwork logistics for exhibitions, projects, art fairs, and sales • Work closely with transport companies to request multiple quotations, competitive pricing, and alternative international shipping and crating options. •
Storage • Manage storage facility inventories and accounts to minimise costs. • Ensure accurate record keeping of artworks in storage. • Ongoing management of import, TA and Bond status. •
Archives • Digital archiving of all photography, video, audio, architectural plans, etc, including metadata and folder organisation, cloud access, backup, etc. •
Event Organisation ; Exhibition project Management ;
Regular communication and collaborative meetings with colleagues in New York and Paris to ensure efficient and effective workflows, to share and propose ideas, and to inform about all artwork related issues, including customs, legal, and shipping.
