About the job

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented enthusiastic team player who is looking for an entry into the art profession. They will be the first point of contact for visitors, and assigned ad-hoc duties as required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for visitors
  • Preparing beverages for client meetings and visitors.
  • Helping clients with requests.
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Distribute mail
  • Keeping the showroom appearance to a high standard. Occasional need for cleaning of stands and general up-keep.
  • Running various external errands
  • Organising lunch for staff; ordering/collecting food, table setting and cleaning after dining.
  • Overseeing office supplies and making all purchases for stationary, books, equipment etc, when required.
  • Working with the EA to manage diaries and reservations.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask and problem solve.
  • Professional and presentable manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a small, close-knit team.
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations and adapt quickly.
  • Experience with expenses and basic petty cash handling.
