A fantastic and rare opportunity has arisen at one of the globes leading contemporary gallery’ who hold one of the most exciting and sought after artist rosters in the industry for a Press Officer to join the growing communications team.

The role will cover key areas across social media, press and wider comms. for the gallery both here in the UK but with the need to collaborate and work closely with Press colleagues in Europe and further afield. A key skill in this role will be the ability to grow and nurture national and international press contacts. An interest and focus on digital press and social media is also helpful as this role will involve collaboration on these areas with in-house digital specialists.

It is crucial that the prospective individual is able to write with a high degree of fluency and interest as an integral part of the role will be to significantly contribute to communication materials related to the gallery, including writing press releases, media alerts and invites. It would be preferable for candidates to hold a working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign, Microsoft Office and Mac OS X.

Salary up to £30,000
