The Exhibitions Manager is responsible for the smooth execution of all exhibitions.Work alongside the Directors and wider Exhibitions team to lead the programming of the gallery’s exhibitions, communicating it to the Sales team well in advance.

Work closely with all the gallery’s artists and are the main point of liaison; running the exhibition programme, leading the team and making the wider team aware of all aspects of gallery programming.

Responsible for building strong long-term relationships with artists, Curators and industry professionals in an effort to create new business opportunities for the company, which will ultimately facilitate growth and expansion within the business. The Exhibitions Manager will also provide senior-level support for the Directors in their efforts to expand the gallery’s presence and reputation internationally.necessary.

Remit Includes
●    Plan, organise and present exhibitions, and manage the exhibitions schedule and event dates.
●    Support the Directors with curating the gallery exhibitions in cooperation with new and long-standing artists.
●    Work closely with individual artists, assisting with inventory management, overseeing artwork cataloguing and artist profiles, logistics and operations.
●    Manage the logistics for all artworks for exhibitions, from the consignment, to arranging shipments nationally and internationally, post-show storage and return.
●    Upload all artworks on SalesForce and make sure all lists and private views are created and regularly updated for the use of the team.
●    Oversee all cataloguing of exhibition consignments and keep records and archives up to date at all times with relevant imagery and work details.
●    Work with the Technician on the planning of exhibition installs and de-installs.
●    Overall deadline management for exhibitions, artists and gallery staff.
●    Budget tracking for exhibitions and projects; ensuring the gallery is always cost-efficient.
●    Sourcing best practice vendors/suppliers and assisting with general administration, budgeting, finance and accounts, and negotiating preferential rates with all gallery vendors/suppliers and partners.
●    Provide round-ups of upcoming exhibitions for the Sales Team and keep them briefed on technical and artistic matters relating to programming.
●    Manage exhibition events, including collectors’ dinners, artist panels, private views, talks and or any other academic programming.
