Role

works alongside the Head of Events and Head of Development to ensure the smooth execution of all  events. Events scheduling is busy and requires working on multiple events at any given time, so multitasking and prioritising are key aspects of the role.

Clear communication is key in order to stay on top of the various ongoing projects and the Events Assistant will be a strong communicator – both verbally and in writing.

A conscious effort to keep up to date with current affairs within the industry is an essential part of the role. Taking initiative and putting forward new ideas is championed and encouraged. Previous experience within venues and/or hospitality is essential.

Includes not limited to  

Ensure the smooth running of all events (exhibition private views, dinners and panel talks). Including venue management and liaising with external suppliers.

End to end event management of all gallery events and some external clients

Liaising with external suppliers;

Overseeing installation and deinstallation of all client events. This includes bar set up, dinner table set up and AV set up.

Remaining available for the duration of the events for any ad-hoc issues which may arise. Including but not limited to electrical issues and plumbing emergencies.

Coordinate and conduct site visits across the two venues.

Arrange photography of events and content, posting on social media platforms when requested.
