Working closely with Account Managers to deliver excellent service and results to our clients through media relations, media coverage, media monitoring, research, client liaison, drafting media materials, event organization, attending meetings, taking minutes and maintaining administrative systems. –

Under direction of Account Director and Account Manager, media outreach to comprise journalist meetings, direct email, phone calls and other outreach to communicate client news and messages. –

Where relevant, support for client events, to include invitation management,, liaison with photographers, press release mailings to media and on-site assistance. –

Execution of media requests to include distribution of imagery, information and, where relevant, setting up of interviews andmedia briefings. –

Searching, formatting, sharing and evaluation of published editorial secured for clients: forms an essential part of the agency’s communication with its clients and its reporting and evaluation service.

Deputising for the Account Managers, as required. –

Recording and administration of editorial progress across clients, to ensure efficient and organised working practices, with a view to inputting each month into end of month activity status reports. –

Administrative support with media databases and other key agency documents. – Participation in company social media strategy: regular content to be produced (and, where relevant, commissioned and edited) for company’s website, Facebook page and Twitter account.

Generation of press materials to include press release copywriting and photographer liaison. –

Generation of competitor analysis and reportswhere relevant for clients. – Management and training of interns-

Skills and Experience 

An excellent writer and confident communicator who can be articulate, persuasive and accurate in both written and verbal contexts. –

Enthusiasm for reading and researching art and art history as well as writers and wide-ranging cultural and mainstream media outlets. –

Extremely well-organised and thorough with an eye detail and a commitment to working to as high a standard as possible. –

General office and administrative experience with a professional manner. – An intuitive understanding and enthusiasm to keep abreast of wider cultural trends and events. – Excellent people and social skills and significant drive and ambition to meet new people and to build contacts and knowledge. –

Interest and enthusiasm for using digital and social media strategically, a digital native with a passion for contributing creative and innovative ideas for this. –

Strong IT skills – proficient with Microsoft Office and Mac programs such as Keynote and Pages. – (Desired, but not essential) French, Italian or German as a second language.
